Where is the ISA's First President Now?

Dan Jones is currently a Lead Program Manager at Microsoft working on SQLServer, Microsoft's enterprise database and business intelligence platform! Dan runs a team that is responsible for the product installation and on-going servicing of SQL Server and related data access and reporting components. Dan has over 12 years of experience in commercial software development and information technology.
Prior to joining Microsoft Dan held Senior Product Manager positions at Blazent, IBM, and Rational Software. While at Blazent Dan was responsible for setting Blazent's product strategy, conducting competitive analysis, and most importantly defining the requirements for each release of the Blazent IT Intelligence platform. Dan's work at IBM and Rational included ownership of IBM/Rational ProjectConsole.
ProjectConsole is a browser-based tool used by software project teams and managers to monitor real-time project status. Dan started his career at Hewlett Packard serving in several different IT roles including the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS, a business intelligence system for the worldwide marketing team, and an online marketplace for build-to-order Windows server.
Dan graduated from Cal Poly in 1992 with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in MIS. Dan also earned a minor in Computer Science with an emphasis in relational databases. While at Cal Poly, Dan was a founding member and the first president of Information Systems Association (ISA). Dan also holds an MBA from Santa Clara University.
